Endovascular Treatment of Chronic Venous Disease
摘要
Patients with deep venous thrombosis are at increased risk for developing post-thrombotic syndrome as a result of deep venous obstruction and/or reflux leading to venous hypertension. Post-thrombotic syndrome results in a considerable burden to patients and health care systems. The decision as to which patients presenting with chronic venous lesions should be intervened remains a challenge. Novel recanalization and stenting techniques for the iliofemoral venous segment are on the rise.
