Cyanoacylate Glue Ablation for Chronic Venous Disease
摘要
Catheter directed cyanoacrylate (CAC) is a non-thermal, non-tumescent alternative to Endovenous Thermal Ablation (EVTA) techniques to occlude incompetent superficial veins of the lower limbs. Several CAC systems for treatment of peripheral veins are available, and currently, at least four types of cyanoacrylate vein adhesive devices are commercially available for superficial vein incompetence treatment (VenaSeal™, VenaBlock™ and Veinoff™ and Venex™). Overview of the literature on indications, contraindications, complications, and results was done by the author in order to offer a better analysis of this promising technique.
