Adsorption Effect of Corn Cob Based Activated Carbon on Heavy Metals in Water

Over the years, heavy metal wastewater treatment technology has become more mature, but there are still shortcomings, so more effective methods should be found. In this paper, corncob based activated carbon was used as adsorbent to determine the effects of activated carbon dosage, temperature, pH and oscillation time on the adsorption of copper and cadmium ions on activated carbon. Through the above tests, the actual effect of activated carbon on the treatment of heavy metal pollution in water was evaluated, which provided theoretical support for the treatment of heavy metal pollution in water in the future.
