摘要

This paper analyzed the characteristics of waves in the waters near Nanri Island as a function of time based on the wave observation data of the area from April 2020 to March 2021. In the observation period, the maximum and average effective wave heights were 2.82 m and 0.85 m respectively, and the maximum and average periods were 7.21 s and 3.70 s respectively. In the waters, the average effective wave height was the greatest in autumn, being 1.21 m, and the smallest in summer, being 0.46 m, and both the normal and strong waves were in the E direction. Finally, an analysis was conducted on seasonal and monthly variation characteristics of the wave energy flux density, energy level frequency, effective reserves and resource stability in the Nanri Island waters. The results showed that the frequency of wave energy flux density greater than 2 kW/m in the Nanri Island waters was about 33%; the wave energy flux density showed single-peak monthly variation characteristics, with the peak value in October and a monthly average value of 5.16 kW/m; significant seasonal changes were presented and the wave energy was abundant in autumn and winter, with the peak value of effective reserves in October to December and an average value of 4.77 kW/m; the frequency of reserves meeting mining conditions was as high as 72%; the effective reserves in spring and summer were very poor. Therefore, the wave energy in the Nanri Island waters was suitable for development in general, with concentrated development time. This paper is of great significance for understanding the wave characteristics and engineering design of the waters near Nanri Island and provides a scientific reference for the development of wave energy.
