The Impact of Coal Resources on Conventional Air Pollutants and Carbon Emissions in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration Economic Circle

Coal consumption is closely related to air pollution and carbon emissions. In order to understand the impact of coal resource consumption on air pollutants and carbon emissions in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic circle in recent years, this paper analyzes the pollution situation of conventional air pollutants brought and carbon emissions caused by the consumption of coal resources in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The results show that the total amount of conventional air pollutant emissions in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is showing a downward trend at a macro level, consistent with the trend of changes in coal consumption. This is closely related to the industrial structure of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It is necessary to transform and upgrade coal technology, through the adjustment of the industrial and energy structure, to achieve the sustainable development of the coal industry, and to contribute to the comprehensive treatment of conventional air pollutants and carbon reduction.
