The Impact of Hydrogen Energy on Energy Structure and Carbon Emission of Hebei Province
摘要
Global warming has attracted the world's attention. China has set carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals in 2020. The vision of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality at the national level needs to be decomposed and implemented in various regions. Hydrogen energy is regarded as an essential technology option in the process of the low-carbon energy transition. Taking Hebei Province as the research object, this study constructs the LEAP-Hebei model combined with the scenario analysis method to analyze the application changes of hydrogen energy in terminal energy consumption scenarios and sets the business as usual (BAU), low-carbon scenario (LC), and enhanced low-carbon (ELC) scenarios to simulate and compare the future energy consumption and carbon emissions in Hebei Province. The results show that LC and ELC scenarios can effectively reduce primary energy consumption and carbon emissions. Compared with the BAU scenario, the LC scenario reduces the primary energy consumption and carbon emissions by 17.9% and 67% in 2060, respectively. Compared with the BAU scenario, the ELC scenario reduces primary energy consumption and carbon emissions by 35.4% and 86.5% in 2060, respectively. Hebei Province needs to appropriately accelerate the application of hydrogen energy in different fields of terminals and promote the development of the hydrogen energy industry to achieve carbon neutrality as soon as possible.
