Critical Factors in Oil Field Exploration and Development: Detailed Study About Sedimentary Microfacies
摘要
Detailed sedimentary microfacies research is important to determine favorable target areas for oil and gas exploration and development. In order to clarify the sedimentary microfacies characteristics of Chang 9 in the southeast Wanggoumen area, the types and distribution of Chang 9 sedimentary microfacies were studied using logging, core, analysis and testing data. The results show that delta facies is developed in the Chang 9, mainly in the delta front subfacies, and can be subdivided into sedimentary microfacies such as underwater distributary channel, natural levee, interdistributary bay and mouth bar. Among them, the underwater distributary channel sand body, as the skeleton sand body, is relatively well developed and is the main place for oil and gas accumulation. The underwater distributary channel is distributed in a nearly north–south direction, with an underwater natural levee developed locally on its flanks and bay microfacies. The detailed study of sedimentary microfacies and sand body characteristics provides basic geological basis for exploration and development.
