摘要

With 90% of the world’s trades transported by sea, the volume of seaborne trade directly affects the shipbuilding industry and has a significant impact on the worldwide economy. 2021 International Maritime Organization's Marine Environment Protection Committee 77th session proposes revision on greenhouse gas reduction strategy, discussing the rationale for adjusting the target to zero/net zero emission by 2050. Ocean-going vessels are actively seeking alternative sources of energy to reduce their pollution of the air at sea and to reduce their environment impact. This paper is the first to study the effects of injection timing and exhaust value closing timing on the economy and emission characteristics of a marine engine for a low-speed engine bench. The paper takes a marine two-stroke diesel engine as the research object and conducts a study on the economy and emission characteristics of the diesel engine in diesel mode with the original engine experimental data as reference. Experimentally, it was concluded that proper advancement of injection timing can improve emission preference, and that delaying the closing angle of the exhaust value can also improve the emission of diesel engine gases.
