The Discussion of Mining Bauxite Under the Coal Seam in Aging Mine

Shanxi is a province with a large resource endowment in China, with huge reserves of bauxite resources. However, with the continuous development in recent years, the shallow bauxite resources have been gradually exhausted, and more attention should be paid to the exploration and development of bauxite under the coal seam. Taking the Chejiazhuang Mine as an example, this paper analyzes the feasibility and necessity of the exploration and development of bauxite under the coal seam in aging mines with exhausted coal resources in the Lvliang area. This paper discusses the feasibility of applying coal mining methods and techniques to bauxite mining, especially the advanced mechanized mining methods and techniques at home and abroad. This paper attempts to find a new development mode for mines with depleted coal resources in Luliang area through innovations in resource conditions, mining technology and mining methods.
