Application of Response Surface Method in Industrial Water Treatment: A Case Study of Direct Decolorization of Polyzinc Silicate Chitosan

摘要

In order to obtain the optimal process conditions of PSFZ-CTS flocculation of direct orange, with decolorization rate as the response value, Box-Behnken response surface method was used to model and optimize three factors: flocculant dosage, pH, and settling time. The results showed that the optimal flocculation conditions were as follows: the dosage of 45 mg/L, pH = 6.60, t sedimentation = 37 min. Under these conditions, the decolorization rate could reach 99.33%.
