Directional Well Data Analysis and Drilling Engineering Design

This paper presents the drilling plan design of a directional well. Because the formation drilled in this well is prone to collapse, high temperature and high pressure, well collapse, well leakage, drilling and cementing problems are prone in the drilling process. Therefore, according to the data of the adjacent well and the characteristics of the local layer, a reasonable drilling engineering design scheme is developed, including well hole track design, well bore structure design, drilling tool combination design, drilling fluid system, cementing design. The design solves the drilling risk problem and achieves the requirements of efficient speed, reservoir protection and safe drilling.
