Research on the Innovative Application of Bamboo Materials in Contemporary Ecological Design

This paper explores the ideas and methods of innovative design of bamboo materials in the context of contemporary ecological design, so as to solve the problem of how traditional materials can serve modern life and improve the quality and taste of modern people’s life. The basic thinking of this thesis is to start from the contemporary design value of bamboo materials, analyze the existing problems in bamboo material design, introduce the current situation of bamboo material research and development and utilization, and discuss the innovative design of bamboo materials in combination with the successful cases of bamboo material design abroad. The conclusion is that the innovative design of bamboo materials should expand the design scope of bamboo materials, explore new design fields and develop new functions of bamboo materials to meet the needs of modern life. We should study the new innovative form of bamboo materials to meet the aesthetic needs of modern people, pay attention to new technologies and processes and develop new product forms, and finally deal with the problems of innovative design and enterprise development.
