Study of SO3 Emission Control Strategy for Coal-Fired Units

摘要

Along with the general realization of ultra-low emission of conventional flue gas pollutants in China's coal-fired power plants, the problems caused by the emission of the non-conventional pollutant SO3 have received increasing attention. In this paper, the control strategies for SO3 emission under different flue gas parameters and emission limit requirements are discussed. Firstly, the performance and potential of chemical absorption for SO3 removal from high sulfur coal-fired units with different SO3 generation concentrations are analyzed by numerical simulation using Ca(OH)2 and Na2SO3 particles as typical absorbents, and then the control strategy of SO3 emission under the combination of the these are analyzed considering the synergistic effect of WFGD in the flue gas system to meet the SO3 emission limits of different regions.
