Research and Thinking on the Budget Standard of Petroleum Geology Experiment Test

Basic and public welfare petroleum geological survey is the initial field of the China Geological Survey of the Ministry of Natural Resources. As an indispensable part of petroleum geological survey, experimental testing is directly related to the quality and results of petroleum geological work. Establishing a set of scientific oil and gas geological experiment test budget standards is helpful to standardize the oil and gas project budget management and match the financial funds reasonably. Based on the connotation and characteristics of oil and gas geological experiment test, this paper determines the development idea of its budget standard, and introduces the whole process of budget standard development in detail. On the basis of sorting out the work flow, comparing the technical standards and building the project framework, the vitrinite reflectance in the source rock analysis is selected as an example to introduce the cost quota measurement method to calculate the theoretical value of the budget standard. Finally, the recommended value of the budget standard is obtained through comprehensive comparative analysis. The establishment of oil and gas geological experiment test budget standard fills the gap in the public welfare oil and gas geological survey budget standard, lays the foundation for improving the geological survey project budget standard system, and also provides ideas for the related laboratory to manage the cost according to the quota.
