The Status Quo and Research Ideas on the Situation Analysis of Urban Gas Pipeline Network Under Extreme Weather

With the frequent occurrence of extreme climate events around the world, the safety of urban gas systems under extreme weather has attracted widespread attention. The situation analysis is an important way to obtain the basis for risk warning and prevention decision-making of the urban gas pipeline network under extreme weather. However, there are few research results on the situation analysis of the gas pipeline network under extreme weather at present. Therefore, this paper firstly analyzes the research status of the situation of infrastructure systems such as the power grid which has certain common characteristics with the gas pipeline networks, then the urban gas pipeline network under extreme cold weather is taken as an example to analyze accident mechanisms, sort out the elements of a risk situation and build a research framework for situation analysis. Finally, this paper looks forward to the research direction of the risk situation analysis method of the urban gas pipeline network under extreme weather.
