Research Status of Cyanide-Containing Wastewater Treatment in Gold Smelting Enterprises

Cyanide-containing wastewater mainly comes from the production process of metallurgy and other industries. Improper treatment of cyanide-containing wastewater can pollute the environment, so recycling and treatment methods for cyanide-containing wastewater are important both for the environment and for the economic aspects associated with high chemical consumption in the process itself. This paper focuses on the discharge characteristics of cyanide-containing wastewater generated by gold smelting enterprises, focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional treatment methods chlorine oxidation, acidification recovery method and inco method, and also expounds the latest research progress of cyanide-containing wastewater treatment methods at home and abroad, which provides valuable information for in-depth research and development in this field.
