Research Progress of Photocatalysis Applications

Photocatalysis is a promising green technology with important applications in the energy and environmental fields, as it can simultaneously solve two global challenges, namely energy shortage, and environmental pollution. This paper introduces typical composite photocatalysts, heterojunction photocatalysts, and doped photocatalysts, and reviews the environmental, energy, and other applications of photocatalysis with their strengths and weaknesses. This review provides a detailed and specific reference for expanding photocatalytic applications.
