Application of Three-Dimensional Parallel Electrical Method in Karst Area of Guangxi
摘要
Karst is one of the major geological disasters in southern China. Based on the difference of soil electrical properties in karst areas, the three-dimensional parallel electrical method is used to explore the spatial development of karst. Parallel electrical method is a combination of multiple devices and multiple pole distances, integrated with electrical sounding and electrical profiling techniques. This method has the advantage of multiple overlays, generate all potential curves on the survey line when power is supplied, increase the electrical image resolution, reduce the time duration, and improve the apparent resistivity of Karst. In this paper, the spatial development of karst in a three-dimensional visual way is verified by a substation in Guangxi karst area. The results show that the parallel electrical method is a valuable method to be applied in karst exploration and detection of geological disasters.
