The Study of Fouling Behavior for the Model Binary/Ternary Mixture Solution
摘要
This paper researched the membrane filtration behavior and mechanism of the PAN Microfiltration (MF) membrane fouled with the model binary/ternary mixture of extracellular polymer substance (EPS) solution under various model mixture solution type. The research indicated that the fouling mechanism at the beginning of the model binary mixture (BSA + SA/BSA + HA/SA + HA) is the combined mechanism (pore blocking-cake filtration), the fouling mechanism in the latter stage of the model binary mixture (HA + SA) is only the cake filtration. The fouling mechanism of the model ternary mixture (BSA + HA + SA) is the combined mechanism (pore blocking-cake filtration). Meanwhile, SA plays an vital role in the change of filtration quality in the model binary/ternary mixture system, while HA and BSA have less effect. In addition, increasing the HA/SA density in the model ternary mixture can aggravate the occurrence of membrane fouling, while increasing the BSA density in the model ternary mixture can alleviate the occurrence of membrane fouling.
