摘要

A brief review on the surgical technique of laparoscopic appendectomy is analyzed: key points are access to the peritoneal cavity, explorative laparoscopy, dissection of the meseteriolum, extraction of the specimen, closure of the stump, washing, and draining. A view on theatre, patients’, and operators’ setting is also presented. Differences in viewing systems and in the number and positions of the trocars to perform appendectomy is shown.
