摘要

Gastrectomy consists in the partial or total removal of the stomach. In case of oncologic disease, the removal of the stomach must be associated with lymphadenectomy, which depends on tumor location, TNM stage, and histological subtype. The intervention consists of two phases: the demolitive phase, characterized by the removal of the organ and by lymphadenectomy, and the reconstructive phase, characterized by the reconstruction of the digestive tube continuity.
