Introduction
摘要
The book examines the EU's multifaced challenges, from Brexit to Covid-19, and their impact on its policies, including enlargement. Despite internal crises, the EU is still in demand from new candidates, such as the Balkan countries. The authors explore the societal, territorial and economic aspects of EU life, as well as its relations with global entities. They call for a complete reassessment of the European project in order to adapt it to current and future challenges. The emphasis is on internal and external cooperation to ensure the EU's future.
