摘要

For valuable cultural relics, it is important to explore a non-destructive and rapid identification method. At present, at least hundreds of millions of cultural relics need to be measured and classified. Acoustic nondestructive testing technology is expected to become one of the key technologies to solve this problem. Due to the different raw materials used in different cultural relics, the material characteristics of each type of cultural relics are different, so the vibration conductivity of different types of cultural relics to sound is also different. This paper summarizes the application of audible sound wave and ultrasonic wave technology in the protection of cultural relics, and introduces in detail the application of acoustic technology in nondestructive testing of cultural relics, such as the evaluation of weathering degree of cultural relics, the detection of internal defects of cultural relics, underwater cultural relics detection and cultural relics restoration, etc. Here, we review several acoustic detection methods available for ancient cultural relics and archaeology. Acoustic nondestructive testing technology has the characteristics of nondestructive, rapid and accurate. It will be widely used in the research and application field of cultural relics protection and provide new ideas for solving problems in the field of cultural relics protection.
