Promoting Films in Cinemas and on Streaming Platforms: Cinema Events in Czechia

Film premieres, exclusive screenings and other special events have taken on increased significance in the exhibition sector of the film industry. They are important promotional events for films large and small, raising awareness among audiences to support the distribution and exhibition process. Such events are traditionally organised in cinemas. Exhibitors, but also film festivals, producers and distributors, organise events for films to varying degrees. However, with the development of the online market, and more recently the Covid 19 pandemic, film events are also increasingly organised online.
