Normal Echo-Anatomy

  • Olivier Bergès

摘要

This chapter shows the normal ultrasound appearance of the different structures of the eye and orbit (the optic nerve and the extraocular muscles and the different orbital vessels: central retinal artery, posterior ciliary artery, ophthalmic artery, central retinal vein, superior and inferior ophthalmic veins, connecting veins, with their normal variants); the eyeball, its anterior segment: the cornea (endothelium, stroma and endothelium), the iris, the ciliary body (pars plana and pars plicata), the zonular fibers, and the pupil, without forgetting the orbital fat, which is the largest constituent of the intra- and extraconal orbital cavity.
