Islamophobia; Discrimination and Microaggressions
摘要
Chapter 3 examines various expressions of Islamophobic encounters based on implicit and or explicit racism, both individually and institutionally. In this chapter Islamophobia is acknowledged as both anti-Islam bigotry and anti-Muslim racism. The chapter also explores how contemporary Islamophobic political discourse veils racism behind the guise of freedom and emancipation.
