Developing Intercultural Communication Competences in the Conditions of Online Learning in the Modern Digital World

In today’s world, which has been changed by the pandemic situations, scientists and scholars are searching for new outcomes. Despite the cultural and traditional diversity, the global society has found itself in the same circumstances – restrictions, prohibitions, lock-downs, QR-code passes, the fear of the unknown, and the uncertainties of tomorrow. Currently, there have been increasing discussions about artificial intellect (AI) and the impact that it has on various spheres of human activity, mainly the educational sphere. These issues have previously been overviewed by numerous professional societies worldwide; however, it is in the current conditions of an approaching threat from the coronavirus (and its variants) that the positive and negative impacts of AI on the spheres of human activity and the ethical side of the topic have become increasingly important. This article summarizes the main challenges and key factors in overcoming the pandemic conditions and the principle measures taken in an attempt to adapt to modern learning circumstances.
