Knowledge-Based Business Skills and Dynamic Capabilities for Supply Chain Firms
摘要
Technological advances raise the manufacturing capabilities of various firms and thus improve their sustainability. When it comes to supply chain firms, the same treaty applies. Apart from technological factors, various knowledge-based skills and capabilities have arisen lately, driving the force of innovation and sustainability in supply chain firms. This chapter aims to classify supply chain firms in knowledge-based skills and dynamic capability clusters and derive results based on their characteristics. To do so, we gathered data from Greek supply chain firms that responded to our questionnaires regarding businesses’ key knowledge-based capabilities. Factor and regression analyses were the main tools for extracting the desired outcomes. Through this research, we found that four main clusters of Greek supply chain firms can be discerned based on their innovation level, with the first three clusters scoring the highest levels of knowledge skills and innovative performance.
