Modeling and Simulation of Examining the Performance of a Drone for Long-Distance Endurance
摘要
The time that an unmanned aerial vehicle can fly is called endurance. Endurance for an unmanned aerial vehicle can be described as the total time required to complete the flight. For a fixed-wing or quadrotor electric aircraft (four propellers), this is directly related to the capacity of the battery and the amount of current generated by the engine to keep the system in the air. The present research work studies the problem, aiming to bring an improvement in the process with the use of modeling and simulation.
