Guerrico

My Dad, Guerrico Mark Zuzarte, was known as Gerry. His parents, like many Indian families from Goa, immigrated to Karachi, Pakistan, to give their children a prosperous life. I hoped to collaborate with him on the StOries (Strangers to Ourselves) project but he sadly passed away on July 4, 2021 at 81 years of age. This piece honours my family’s migration story between Pakistan to Canada, Montreal to Toronto. The beauty of this project has enabled me to explore the spiritual and emotional gifts he offered me throughout his lifetime.
