A Sense of Place & Cyberspace: The Hybrid Way I Live, Work, and Play
摘要
The pandemic highlighted issues that were important to the disability community. People living in congregate settings were particularly vulnerable to the spread of the virus, which made the move to home- and community-based services more urgent. But the pandemic also rendered us all vulnerable and in need of accommodations such as the reconfiguration of public spaces to allow for social distancing. Even as the world returns to a semblance of normal, the increased use of digital spaces continues. This essay explores all the places one can go without ever having to leave home.
