Post-Critical Platonism
摘要
In this chapter I further develop a speculative, post-critical Platonist metaphysics based on Polanyi’s philosophical contributions. I show how such a metaphysics is consonant with a contemporary Neoplatonist synthesis of Plato and Aristotle. I also argue against a Two Worlds interpretation of Plato’s legacy and further refine earlier proposals, such as the distinction between Primordial and non-Primordial Forms and the difference between Forms and universals.
