In the final chapter, we conclude the collection with our reflections on the contributions and reinstate our intentions as they evolved throughout the process of editing the collection and writing our own contributions. We speak to the empirical and theoretical contributions across the collection and bring home the core findings across the collection. Finally, this chapter outlines an agenda for future research focusing on prison officers and the work that they do.
