The ease with which digital technology is now accessible to the general public on the planet makes an immense amount of data available to them. There are numerous benefits to being able to handle these massive amounts of real-time data using Big Data Analytics (BDA) tools and Machine Learning (ML) techniques. Several ML techniques have been published in highly respectable venues in recent years, and this survey article gives a systematic evaluation of the literature for the exploration of various ML techniques utilised for numerous Big Data applications. In light of only the most recent research, we are able to provide a summary of the current ML and Deep Learning (DL) models that are being used to analyse big data for various applications. This analysis of the literature reveals a clear shift in the artificial intelligence approaches utilised in the various applications of Big Data, with DL methods taking priority over ML methods, as illustrated by the findings.

摘要
