The metaverse is a three-dimensional virtual cyberspace that integrates the real world and the digital world. Metaverse used the techniques of AI, virtual reality, blockchain, and cloud computing to provide its services to users. However, the metaverse is vulnerable to different types of cyberattack, such as distributed denial of services (DDoS) attacks. Due to DDoS attack, metaverse services will be inaccessible to its potential users. In addition of that, DDoS attack makes service of non-fungible token (NFT) unavailable to its users. In this context, we introduce a framework for DDoS attack detection in metaverse. Our proposed framework used an entropy-based technique for identification and detection of malicious traffic.
