摘要

A subset of autistic students have the potential for high academic achievement, including success in postsecondary education. These students are sometimes labeled twice exceptional, or 2e. However, autistic students access and graduate from college at lower rates than their nondisabled peers. This chapter presents the results of a series of studies that examined the secondary, secondary transition, and college experiences of a group of 2e autistic students. Key results related to secondary preparation, successful transition planning, and success in college are presented.
