The urgent need for disability-inclusive considerations in health emergencies highlights the necessity of consistently focusing on the priorities of people with disabilities. Multisectoral collaboration, along with engagement in decision-making, is essential for ensuring continuity of the inclusive care model and patient-centered care during outbreaks. Updated disability-inclusive emergency response policies within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, along with evidence-based guidelines and revised clinical pathways, are critical in the healthcare system.
