Brain tumors are among the most challenging cancers to treat, often necessitating surgical resection as a primary approach to management. While advances in surgical techniques have improved survival rates, the procedure frequently results in a range of physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities that significantly impact patients’ quality of life. Physical impairments, such as motor deficits, sensory loss, and coordination issues, commonly arise due to the complex anatomy of the brain and the infiltrative nature of tumors. Cognitive deficits, including memory loss, attention difficulties, language impairments, and executive function challenges, further compound the recovery process, creating barriers to independence and social reintegration.
