摘要

Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a force in all aspects of society and can provide transformative options for individuals with disabilities. Artificial intelligence’s power and potential impact on the disability community is just emerging. Integrating AI tools across multiple domains, such as mobility, communication, vision, cognition, and social inclusion, has the potential to reshape the current and future opportunities for people with disabilities. Yet, AI tools’ current state and application for those with disabilities is unclear. The potential bias, misrepresentation, or lack of accessibility creates many new issues equal to the potential solutions provided by AI.
