Overview of Management and Outcome Assessment in Systemic Sclerosis
摘要
High morbidity and mortality make systemic sclerosis one of the most challenging of the autoimmune rheumatic diseases. Diagnosis and assessment need to be prompt and accurate. A baseline investigation can define the need for treatment and ongoing systematic review, and testing is an important part of management. Stage, disease subset and future risk of major organ-based complication need to be incorporated into management strategies.
