摘要

During this chapter, the topic of numerical differentiation methods is discussed. Obtaining the derivative of a function is undoubtedly one of the most widely used mathematical tools to solve various engineering problems, and calculating it with a computer can be an interesting problem. During the rest of the chapter, the themes of differentiation of interpolation polynomials, differences approximations, and differentiation by Taylor expansion methods are treated; furthermore, the topics of approximation of differences in partial derivatives and high-order derivatives are discussed.
