Acute Myocardial Infarction, Cardiogenic Shock

This case will review the management of a patient with an acute myocardial infarction resulting in a cardiac arrest and post-resuscitation care. Providers will demonstrate correct BLS techniques and knowledge about local resources and policies, and ALS care and application of the ACLS algorithms in accordance to their scope of practice. CCT providers should demonstrate correct management and troubleshooting of a patient with cardiogenic shock requiring an intraaortic balloon pump (IABP) during transport.
