Sepsis, Septic Shock

This case will review the management of a patient with shortness of breath and a cough secondary to pneumonia. Providers should recognize a possible pneumonia, demonstrate correct BLS techniques and knowledge about local resources and policies, and correct application of ALS techniques and management in accordance with their scope of practice. CCT providers should monitor and treat a patient with septic shock physiology with titration of vasopressors and advanced mechanical ventilation troubleshooting in accordance with local protocols.
