Maxillofacial Trauma

This case will review the management of an agitated patient who was assaulted with maxillofacial trauma. Providers must review deescalation techniques as per local policies and protocols. They must recognize the maxillofacial trauma and place the patient in a c-collar, demonstrate correct BLS techniques, and correct application of ALS management. CCT providers must manage a ruptured globe during transport, and demonstrate correct difficult airway management techniques as per local protocols.
