Traumatic Amputation

This case will review the management of a patient with hemorrhagic shock secondary to a traumatic amputation. The providers will review the extraction of a patient from a vehicle with c-spine immobilization, demonstrate correct BLS techniques and knowledge about local resources and policies, and correct application of ALS and airway management. Further, providers will demonstrate correct application of tourniquets for hemorrhage control and hemorrhagic shock management as per local protocols.
