Position for Prone Cases; Operative Field Preparation and Draping

A Wilson spinal frame is useful for performing anorectal operations. The frame maintains patients in a stable adjustable flexed position with excellent access to the anus and distal rectum. The prone position provides the surgeon the benefit of a surgical assistant located directly across the table. The genitalia are free from pressure.
