Colovaginal Anastomosis
摘要
A case of colovaginal anastomosis after low anterior resection of the rectum is presented. Colovaginal anastomosis is an unusual complication associated with the stapling technique. It can occur either by placement of the stapling gun into the vagina or by including the vagina in a colorectal anastomosis. Direct visualization of anatomic landmarks including the anus, the vagina, and the proximal rectum may help to prevent this problem.
