Leadership and Advanced Practice Nursing: Reports from the Field

Advanced practice nurses are increasingly participating in leadership roles in health systems around the world. While the literature has extensive examples of leadership models and aligned competencies, we sometimes lose sight of the applications of these principles, especially from the global vantage point. This chapter offers personal accounts of advanced practice nursing leadership experience by individuals from the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and North America.
