摘要

Victims of human trafficking, as especially vulnerable victims of violent and organised crime, require a multitude of measures from the state, some of which are criminal in nature and others related to protection and assistance. They all need to be interlinked. The specific nature of the crime of trafficking in persons and the damage it causes, however, trigger difficulties that the penal system must address to achieve an answer that is both fair and supportive.
