Neurogenic Tumours
摘要
Primary and secondary neurogenic tumours are common in the orbit, probably because of the many nerves supplying this region. Diagnosis and treatment remain a challenge, as uncertainty persists over the aetiology, pathogenesis, and natural history of these lesions. This chapter reviews the most common neurogenic tumours of the orbit, including optic nerve sheath meningiomas, optic pathway gliomas and peripheral nerve tumours.
